It's been awhile! How you doing? *Wendy William's voice*
Technically, I didn't go anywhere but it has been a few months since my last blog post. I know, I know...I told you guys I struggle with consistency when I start working on new things. No surprise there! Now that I'm back, I'm ready to share more with you all. A lot has happened in the past few months but I did want to share some exciting news. I moved! I moved to Greenpoint with my awesome girlfriend and it was a lot of work preparing for the move and getting settled. If you're not from New York, Greenpoint is a neighborhood in Brooklyn and it's super cute. At least I think so! The photos you're seeing are from one of the days we spent exploring neighborhoods.
I wore something simple but comfortable because I knew we would have to walk a lot. We walked by an apartment area in East Williamsburg with pink walls that complimented what I was wearing. It's funny how that randomly happens huh? lol
My windbreaker is from Forever 21. I attached a link to the windbreaker section on their website so you can see what they currently have available. I was unable to find this exact windbreaker, sorry everyone! If you happen to find it anywhere let me know so I can add the link. I definitely think it's important to buy something you like when you see it because it may not be there the next time you visit the store or go online. Also, if the price is right, why not? I really like windbreakers because they're lightweight, you can add layers to them and they usually come in fun colors.
The long sleeve pink shirt underneath the windbreaker is from ASOS. It's very thin so you can wear it in the warmer months and even with shorts. I'm definitely a fan of wearing long sleeves with shorts! You will for sure see some posts in the future of me rocking the long sleeves/shorts combo. I wasn't able to find this pink shirt on the ASOS website, but I did find an alternative option if you'd like to get something similar. The ASOS Sweatshirt in Pink.
I wore these black pants in a previous post. They were designed/made by me. I can't stress enough how important it is to have a go-to black pair of pants. You can wear them often and change your accessories, shoes or tops to keep reinventing that piece. I'm wearing the Yeezy Powerphase "Calabasas" and I did want to note these are SUPER comfortable for walking.
Adding a spice of color to your outfit whether it's with accessories, shoes or a top can really make a difference and bring your outfit to life.
Do you have any windbreakers in your closet? If so, how do you like to wear it? Drop your comments below!
